Better than Demijohn, Following demand we have sourced this great better than demijohn 5 litre glass fermenter.
A great 5 litre glass jar with handle. Complete with a solid screw cap and a plastic cap cover that acts as a dry 9(no water required) airlock. Simply push the cap over the threads and as the wine ferments the cap will be lifted to release the gas as required.
It also takes a half size demijohn bung and airlock (listed below) if you prefer.
please note that this is not a pressure container. This container can be used in place of the demijohns and being 5litre rather than a gallon (4.5L) gives extra space in case of frothing, all in all an ideal jar for fermenting a gallon in cheaper and more convenient than the traditional demijohn Ideal.
Please note that there is a 25p packing fee for these items towards the extra packing they take. While we pack glass with a lot of care and damage is very rare glass is not insured for damage in transit.
