This years harvests have been drastically affected by the weather as a result there will not be enough hops for the demand and prices have risen. We do have stock and although we have had to increase priseswe have kept them as low as possible and on some varieties we have not put on the full increase also some later cropping varieties are set to rise again. When the cropping is finished and the quantity knwn we will have a fuller picture of the prices of the '07 harvest. This is also set to have a massive impact on the price of beer and it is likely that some small brewery's may simply not get some hops !! |
